2010年、現メンバーでの活動をスタートしたthe god and death starsが、底知れぬポテンシャルを封じ込めたアルバムをリリースする。タイトルは『mary bird milk』。疾走する野性のごとく、本能の赴くまま奏でられたかのようなサウンドは、言葉ひとつ、フレーズひとつに膨大なエネルギーと意図をはらんで刺激的だ。ボーカル＆ギターのaie(ex deadman、the studs、THE MADCAP LAUGHS,etc…)、ベースのkazu(STEREO.C.K、ex 蜉蝣)、ドラムの大嵩潤（rowthe）。
3ピースによるヒリヒリするほどスリリングなアンサンブルが、アンダーグラウンドシーンからオーバーグラウンドへ解き放たれる。
