ロンドンにミュージック・ウォーク・オブ・フェイム誕生。初の銘石はザ・フー
英国ロンドン・カムデンの道に“ミュージック・ウォーク・オブ・フェイム”が新たに設けられ、火曜日（11月19日）、1つ目となるザ・フーの名が刻まれた銘石がお披露目された。
米ハリウッドにあるウォーク・オブ・フェイムにならい、歩道にアーティストの名を彫ったプレートが埋め込まれる。ウォーク・オブ・フェイムが星型なのと異なり、レコード盤をイメージした丸型となっている。

除幕式には、ザ・フーのロジャー・ダルトリーとピート・タウンゼントが出席した。彼らは「カムデンはロンドンのミュージック・シーンの重要な場所であり続けてきた。ロンドナー（ロンドン子）としては、カムデン・ハイ・ストリートにある敷石に名が刻まれるとは夢のようだ」とコメントしている。
この先20年かけて、ミュージシャン、作詞／作曲家、音楽業界関係者のプレートを続々設置していく予定だという。

誰の名を刻むか検討する委員会には、クイーンのロジャー・テイラー、ラッパーのKurtis Blow、リバティーンズのカール・バラー、Food Recordsの創立者アンディ・ロス、フォトグラファーのJill Furmanovsky、カムデンロックス・フェスティバルの主催者Chris McCormackらが参加している。
