ブリット・アワーズ、2020年の活躍が期待されるライジング・スター賞の3候補を発表
英国最大級の音楽アワーズ＜Brit Awards＞が、これからの活躍が期待される英国の新人アーティストへ贈るBrits ライジング・スター賞の候補3アーティストの名前を明かした。
同賞はこれまでクリティックス・チョイス・アワードと呼ばれており、2008年に設立されて以来、アデル、フローレンス＆ザ・マシーン、エリー・ゴールディング、サム・スミス、ジェイムス・ベイ、ラグンボーン・マン、ジョルジャ・スミスらが受賞してきた。今年はルイス・キャパルディ、サム・フェンダー、マヘリアが候補に挙がり、サム・フェンダーへ贈られた。
2020年の候補は女性アーティストで占められ、フィリピンで生まれロンドンで育った19歳のBeabadoobee、R&BシンガーCeleste、2年前にYouTubeで公開された『A Colors Show』でのパフォーマンス映像が800万回以上視聴されているJoy Crookesがノミネートされた。

受賞者は12月6日に発表され、2月に開催される＜Brit Awards 2020＞の授賞式でパフォーマンスする。
＜Brit Awards＞は2020年、1977年に初めて開催されてから40周年を迎える。
