そんなモラレスが手がけるこのリミックス集『ラヴ・ソングス』は、81年のヒット曲「Suqare Biz」を始め、先日急逝したMFドゥームもサンプリングした「I Need Your Lovin’」、DJ・ミロがミックス作品でピックアップした「Behind The Groove」、リック・ジェイムスとの「Fire And Desire」、バー・サンバらもカヴァーした「Portuguese Love」などの名曲群をオリジナルのマスター・テープからリミックス。その言葉通り彼女のポテンシャルを最大限に引き出した、ジョン・モラレス・マジック炸裂の一枚と言えよう。
