17日目は、カリフォルニア州サクラメント・Ace of Spades。2022年10月に出演した＜Aftershock festival＞ぶりに訪れたこの地での単独お給仕は初となる。地元でも人気のライブハウスでの公演となったこの日は、チケットも発売早々にソールドアウト。1,000名を越える満員の客席は、今か今かと待ちわびるご主人様・お嬢様の熱気で溢れていた。
この日も冒頭から激しいセットリストで「alone」「モラトリアム」などを披露。小鳩ミクのリードボーカル曲「Rock in me」ではハンドマイクでステージを練り歩き、ハードな楽曲とキュートな一面とのギャップでも観客を魅了していく。この日、客席には有志の観客がメンバーへのサプライズでサイリウムを配布しており、バラード曲「Memorable」からチラホラと光り出した客席は続く「Daydreaming」でさらに増え全体に広がると、歌に併せて左右にウェーブが起こった。
きらきらと揺らめく光で会場があたたかい雰囲気に包まれると、歌い終えたSAIKIも「Thank you so beautiful!ありがとう！」と笑みをこぼしながらサプライズへの感謝を伝えた。また、この日はラストに新曲「Shambles」をお給仕初披露。KANAMIによるイントロのギターリフが聴こえるや否や、思いがけないメンバーからのサプライズに、どよめきと歓声が起き、盛り上がりも最高潮に。新曲含め全20曲でこの日のステージを終えた。
Day 17 of the tour took BAND-MAID out to Sacramento, California's Ace of Spades. This marked the band's return to the city after appearing at the Aftershock Festival in October 2022 and their first solo OKYUJI there. A popular performance venue in the city, tickets to the Ace of Spades show quickly sold out, and the excitement of over 1,000 eager masters and princesses was palpable in the packed house.
The set list for the night started off hard and only got harder, starting with "alone" and "Moratorium". MIKU sang into a handheld microphone for "Rock in me" while gliding around the stage, charming the audience with the contrast between her cute expressions and the brutal song. Unbeknownst to the band, some of the fans had arranged a special surprise by passing out glow sticks to the audience, and during "Memorable", the first few twinkling lights could be seen before the whole house lit up and waved them in time with "Daydreaming".
The glow of the lights brought a special warmth to the house, leading SAIKI's smiles as she expressed her gratitude to the audience for their surprise with "Thank you, so beautiful!" and "Arigatou!" Then came a surprise from the band, as they closed the OKYUJI with their new song "Shambles", which created a stir in the audience from the opening note of KANAMI's intro guitar riff that blossomed into a thrilling finale of cheers. With the new song included, BAND-MAID's set that night comprised 20 songs in all.
