Supremesの“Stop! In The Name Of Love”、Beatlesの“Hey Jude”、Byrdsの“Turn Turn Turn”がGrammy Hall Of Fame（グラミーの殿堂）入りを果たした。
Recording Academy（レコーディング・アカデミー）は、トータルで31曲を選出し、Grammy Hall Of Fame入りを発表した。同アカデミーは「時代を超えたクオリティーと妥当性、歴史的重要性のある曲の栄誉を称えるため」に'73年に設立された組織だ。
殿堂入りの資格を得るには少なくとも25年以上経たレコーディング（各個人の曲やアルバム）でなければならず、また、エントリーするには音楽学者や歴史学者を含む音楽の専門家によって構成された評議会で選出されなければならない。今回、殿堂入りを果たした中で最も古い曲は、'38年のArtie Shawの“Any Old Time”。
