デヴィッド・ボウイのビデオがDVDにコンパイルされて発売

その世界においてしばしば革新をもたらしたDavid Bowieのビデオを集めたDVD『Best Of Bowie』が11月19日に米国リリースされる予定だ。47曲収録・２枚組となるDVDは、CD版『Best Of Bowie 』を補完するもの。２枚組CDに１枚のシングルを加えたCDのほうは10月22日にリリースになる（米国）。

「Heroes」「Ashes To Ashes」「Let's Dance」「China Girl」「Modern Love」そして「Blue Jean」といった良く知られているクリップはもちろん、このDVDには『Top Of The Pops』での「Starman」や、『The Dick Cavett Show』の「Young Americans」、イギリスのTVショウ『The Old Grey Whistle Test』からの３曲「Oh! You Pretty Things」「Five Years」「Queen Bitch」といった、貴重なBowieの古いTVパフォーマンスが含まれている。

セットにはこのほか、Rolling StonesのMick Jaggerとカヴァーした「Dancing In The Street」（オリジナルはMartha & the Vandellas）の'85年のLive Aidコンサートにおけるパフォーマンスも収められている。Bowieは現在５夜にわたるニューヨークでのライヴの最中で、次の公演は10月16日（水）、クィーンズのColden Center。
